I need some fundraising tips. I am doing a fundraising walk for autism and I am trying to raise money. Help!?

Have a rummage sale! Ask people for there donations of clothes and then set up the sell. We did this for Relay for Life and made over $1000.

I find that the most effective method is to write to large, small, national and local businesses of any kind explaining what you are doing and why, and asking for donations. It also helps to promise to write back after the event letting them know how you have done. It is good to start early! I have fundraised for expeditions - the first time I done that, aged 16 I raised over 5000 pounds in 6 months. Write to everybody!!
