My son who is 3 is draggin and dropping with the mouse and is rapidly learning to use the computer. He LOVES to play computer games esp. when it has to do with reading and numbers! I prefer educational websites but there are few out there from what I have noticed. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.

  1. my daughter is also 3 she usually goes to nickjr.com on the playtime section or pbskids.org or sesamestreet.com or barney.com she has learned a lot

  2. I have a 3 yrs old and 5 yr old and we find these sites very useful:

    www.crayola.com

    www.funschool.com

    www.kidsgames.org

  3. My son enjoys:

the PBS Kids web site, I think it's www.pbskids.org

    http://www.noggin.com

the Discovery channels kids site, I think it's www.discoverykids.com

The National Geographic website has a kids site too

All of these sites have educational components and at least the games provided have a functional purpose.

  4. These sites do require a $20.00 yearly fee to have full use of all their printable materials, but it is well worth it.

You can check them out for free, but it is a lot of curriculum in one place.
