I need some good choices for audition songs for a musical?

im not really a big fan of the movie but,

Don't sing anything from Wicked, Hairspray or Legally Blonde - they're all incredibly overdone and you won't stand out at all.  Without knowing what your show is, it's impossible to recommend a song, but here are some general pointers:

1. Pick a song which suits your vocal range

2. Pick a song which suits the character you want to get

3. Don't do any overdone songs (as above)

4. Pick a song which is similar in style to the show you're auditioning for - by the same composer if possible.  IE, don't sing a song from Grease for an audition for the Sound of Music
