I need some good fundraiser ideas so that I can pay for food for foster puppies, any ideas?

I really need some fund raiser ideas becauce I am fostering some puppies and it is also my project at school it would make my life easier if I could pay for food and not my parents

Bakesales are always a standby fundraiser. I also recently had a lot of success with a "Communtiy Sale". I asked for donations of any items that people would normally put in a garage sale. We ended up getting TONS of stuff - we had a huge garage sale at our local Community Center one weekend and made a good amount of $$. It's great b/c you're helping people get rid of items they don't want, and you're not putting out any money on your end other than price stickers (the communtiy center in our town is free to rent if it's not for profit). Another idea would be to put donation cans at local vendor locations such as gas stations, movie theaters, grocery stores etc. where people can throw their change after paying.

Have something.

Such as:

A Big race with the dogs and have people watch.

and have a betting table set up.

The money generated should be good for food.

well if you kno any high school or junior high school kids then candy is a HUGE money seller.we love candy lol and also....car washes of course but too cold but all i can think of is candy

Check with your locale humane groups.  They receive donations of pet food from grocery stores, etc. The humane groups cannot, or should not charge you for the food.
