Here's the BEST idea - DON'T DO IT!  I don't care how much she laughs along with everyone and pretends it's funny, she will NOT enjoy it.  It will make her embarrassed and feel bad.

Long-stemmed prunes....go out and find 12 sticks...go buy a box of dried prunes...stick 'em on the end of the sticks and wrap in tissue paper like a dozen roses!

Over the hill birthday ideas are done in black. Black table cloth, black paper plates, black balloons etc. Go to a party store and they will have all the over the hill accessories that you will need. Oh and by the way, over the hill parties start at age 40.
