To start with, we don't know what happened before the video. It was a drug bust, the driver ran and the dude on the ground probably had a smart mouth. There was no audio, so we'll never know what the bad guy said that pissed the cop off. I wouldn't have fired the cop, we need more like him, cops that are not afraid to take the bull by the horns if you know what I mean.

The guy was driving along approached the stop sign, slowed down but did not fully stop at the stop sign. The nearby cops puts on his siren  and pulls him over.  Guy asks cop, "Why are you stopping me, there were no other cars around, I slowed down ya know."  So, the cop puts his hand into a fist and hits him in the face and says, "Now do you want to stop or do you want me to slow down?"  

I like the idea that they thought he had drugs in his mouth and was trying to swallow them so they beat the c**p out of him to "prevent the destruction of evidence."

Every cop there should be fired and sent to prison. The jerk that said that the kid  probability pissed the cop off what is wrong with these people even if the kid did p**s the cop off that still doesn't give that the right to beat someone. And we don't need more like those cops we have way to many of them right now. Go to http://www.badcopnews.com and look at all the bad cops out there.
