I just need some drills or something I can do in or outside of my house without needing to go to the other side of town to the tennis courts. Plus I can't always play with other people, usually just myself.

  1. The wall is great for developing feel for the ball.  Hopefully you have a hard exterior wall (brick or stone).  Stand about a arm and racket length away from the wall.  See if you can hit 50 consecutive volleys on the forehand side without the ball touching the ground.  Then do 50 consecutive backhand volleys.  Then control the ball to where it's cris-crossing from forehand to backhand and do 50 this way.  This is much harder than it seems but with a lot of practice, you can do it.  It only works if you use the correct grip (the continental grip) and solid technique.  The result will be strengthened forearms, great ball control, and wonderful volleys

  2. Nothing can't replace real play with good partner on real court but you can try on special tennis wall for training. Dont do that at home - the noise is terrible!

  3. why don't just play with the wall in your home, hit against the wall?

do u hav a garden? u can just try serving outside your house if u have a big garden.
