  1. If it is a big problem, I believe some airlines run a course for nervous passengers. Worth enquiring. Drinking alcohol, if you are old enough, may not help as some people get very as*y as a result. Hypnosis would help I'm sure, but get a quote first in case of a greedy practitioner.

Other than that, think hard about all the others on the plane. Many of them will feel a bit nervous but manage to resolve it with a few deep breaths and distraction. Focus on something that will occupy your thoughts such as conversation with a friend, or imagine you are at your destination and plan the day, or even better the evening!

The first time I flew, I felt quite nervous, but I actually enjoyed the sensation of power and speed on take off. But then, perhaps I'm odd!

  2. you mean plane or fields?

  3. I think you are looking to fly on a plane not across a grassy area

  4. if you're going with someone you know, get them to talk to you none stop and try to make you laugh and let them talk to you about all the things you'll see anf do when you arrive at your destination, try to forget that you're on a plane and just imagine yourself drifting through the air peacefully.

Keep yourself hydrated and if you feel hungry eat.

    Just think:

    1) Im safe

    2) Im going to enjoy myself, and im not going to let one silly little plane journey ruin that.

    3) Im going to do this for myself to prove that i can do it, its worth it in the end to over-come the fear.

4)you might NOT ever over-come the fear but getting used to experiencing it makes the fear wane just a little.

    5) Do i fancy a nice glass of wine to clam me down?

    6) Maybe i should buy a good magazine or book to take my mind of flying.

7)Buying hard sweets are a good idea to suck on when landing to stop your ears popping so badly. and they are good to take during flight as a way of relieving stress.

    8) During take off grip onto somones hand or the arm rest for support and squezze it real tight to release any nerves or stress.

    Hope this helps a little.

  5. Bach's Rescue Remedy, is very good it is totally herbal and even children can use it , It can be purchased from any good chemist for about £5.95 well worth the pennies

  6. Don't worry.

I heard airplane travel is one of the safest ways of traveling. They are extremely safe. And avoid looking out the window. Just listen to music while you sleep. That way, it goes by faster and you don't have to worry as much. Just get an aisle seat, so you have a better way of not looking out the window.

    Don't worry. They're very safe.

    Hope I helped.

  7. Remind yourself that flying is still, statistically, the safest way to travel.

  8. Are you old enough to drink? Get a cocktail on the plane. Or take a nyquil or something like that to make you sleepy

  9. okay if you need to chill the nerves try meds make an appointment with your doctor. if that is not an option then try booze lots of booze. it works for me,lol
