I am going to teach conversational English at a summer camp in South Korea; and ISO great songs to start the class and finish them well on great notes. Please give me your ideas on the songs that worked for you. Thank you

  1. My students have love "Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston, "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel, and "Delilah" by Tom Jones.

They really love pop music, but I have found the vocabulary expansion and grammar to be the reason for teaching English, and a lot of pop is utterly useless.

Email me at josephdeka@gmail.com and I will email to you the lesson plans I wrote that go along with those three song I suggested.

  2. what's the  range of age of the students u'll be teaching???

if they're in college, i'd recommend "Cry Ophelia" of the Dawson's Creek defunct TV Show.

Try to download it, and the lyrics.
