okay. so, i have not seen any of the classic scary movies, and by that i mean i haven't seen ANY. like, i haven't seen nightmare on elm street, children of the corn, pet cemetery, halloween, etc. nothing with freddy, jason, michael, nothing. you get the picture, i haven't seen any scary movies.

so i was thinking it would be cool to have my close guy and girl friends over right after school this year and watch some, take a candy break, and ya know, watch some more. the girls would spend the night and the guys could spend the night with my guy friend who lives down the road, so the time thing isn't too much of an issue.

my question is, i need good movies to watch! nothing too too gory though. what are the best classic scary movies? i need good suggestions!

  1. those ones you listed are good but u didnt name scream, the exorcist and CHUCKY lol. oh and boogyman and it

  2. Oh wow. You basically listed most of them right there!

anyway, I'd go with Van Helsing, The Blair Witch Project, Jeepers Creepers, Amityville Horror, The Mummy, Jaws, and, if you change your mind about the gory-ness, I suggest Texas Chainsaw massacre and the Saw trilogy, along with some classical Dr. Giggles! :D

Good luck and happy horror movie watching! :)

p.s.: There are some clips of 'Dr.Giggles' on Youtube!

  3.   " It " by Stephen King, its about a scary clown. Tim Curry is the clown. Its creepy, not blood & guts.
