  1. unless you have a really heavy period (like i do) you should be fine, and even so a super plus (or new even bigger Ultra absorbency from Playtex) should work perfectly.

and if you're paranoid, then check every hour or however often you think is necessary.

remember-  if you feel wet down there, it's just cause you're in the water, not because you leaked! unless the water turns red...then you're in trouble.

  2. If you're not heavy you've got no worries!

    Go swimming and have fun!

Just remember to take it out after cause it wont be as absorbant when you're out of the water but you dont have to race to get changed.

Relax, take it easy and have a blast :)

  3. honey, i know exactly how you feel! i was on vacation when i got my period... i was like 14 and soo upset that i couldnt swim! tampons dont leak if you put them in right and you get some diagrams when you buy them on a leaflet inside which tells you what to do, how to do it and they even have questions answered that people worry most about one of them is actually can i still swim. There super-absorbant so they wont leak... you just have to change them every 2 hours when in the water and every 4 hours if not so that they dont leak but if you change them you'll be fine! Also you can get different absorbancies for which flow sounds most like you and different sizes too its rather awesome lol!

    good luck&you'll be fine!

  4. when you are underwater, i heard that the bleeding completely stops.

You won't leak, especially if you have a tampon in.

    good luck!!

  5. well while you are submerged into water...i heard you dont bleed....and everytime i swim and use a tampon..its gross sounding...but when i take it out its not very "full" so i think youll be fine..if you feel uncomfortable then you can just check often...or if youd rather not swim at all..just sit out in the sun..gettin a tan is always fun too! : )

  6. they make tampons where you can go swimming no matter how your heavey your flow is

  7. Hi, you will be fine swimming especially if your period isn't very heavy. Tampons are designed not to leak and lots of women rely on them for swimming while they are on their periods. I have used them in the past with no trouble. And I also agree that usually women don't bleed a lot while swimming. Good luck - you'll be fine!!!

  8. Actually, it's not likely you'll leak, wearing a tampon. I've done it several times, and haven't leaked. :D

    Hope that helps
