I need some help and advice?

My little sister just found out she's dislexic. She's 14 and lived with it all her life and no one noticed . Can someone please tell me about dislexia and how her life will change ? will it get harder or easier ? thansks x*x

I know it all seems frightening now, but dyslexia is not an uncommon problem.  There are various types of dyslexia and there are many programmes designed to help the situation, so try not to worry too much.  Dyslexia has no relationship to intelligence, so don't let anyone tell you that your sister isn't intelligent.

Don't stress over it.

If she is in the public school system, they will provide her with support services she will need.  Learning disabilities specialist.

She won't end up in a special needs room.
