I'm in need of some help of buying snowboard pants and boots online. My waist is 33 inches and my shoes (depending on the brand they are) are 91/2-10. With pants, I'm looking for a relaxed fit. I'm thinking large, but am kind of skeptical on them being too big. By the way......I temporarily living in Kentucky. Not a whole lot of places to "try" any on. I am currently looking at the-house.com and dogfunk.com. Oh, since it's on my mind as well.....Types of wax for artificial snow (from snow making machines)? I'll be snowboarding in the Indiana and Ohio areas. Thanks a million!

  1. I would say go with size large dude, for the pants.  As far as boots jus make sure you call the companies, OR if buying from dogfunk  do the live chat thing and ask if the boots you have picked out run big or small as some boots are weird like that.   Burton pants are sick man, nice and relaxed, and they hold up awesome.  Here are a couple other places to get gear online

    theclickworldwide.com ( i can get u a discount here)

    ccs.com

    zumiez.com

    backcountry.com (same as dogfunk)

As for wax. We have alot of artificial snow up here in NY.  I just picked up some dakine paste wax and its so frickin slippity slidery.   That would be your best bet. Well the very best is the iron on wax but its kinda a pain in the butt to put on.

    Happy Shredding dude

  2. i bought snowboarding pants from the-house.com and they had a size chart on the website. try measuring yourself using it.

  3. I bought a lot of my gear from the-house.  they are really helpful, your best bet would be to call them from the toll free number.  that way they can tell you whether a brand runs small or big.  and the wax dosent matter, artificaial snow is stll real snow, just made with compressed air.  its just warm or cold that matters.  if you need that would be a good question for the people at the-house they are located in the twin cities and they have alot of artificial snow there.

  4. I buy most of my gear from http://backcountryoutlet.com
