I need some help choosing how to use this name

Question

We've decided on the name Ella Rae, and I'm not sure if I should make it a first and middle name, or just one name.

Regardless if you like it as two names, could someone give me an idea of what middle name would go with Ellarae?

Ella Rae as a first name but separated and using MIchelle or Danielle obviously add in your last name when you say them together with my last name it works but sometimes it just doesnt work

I would advise you to stay away from Ellarae. It takes a beautiful name like Ella and strips all the meaning and history away from it. It also looks quite awkward and incomplete. EllaRae is the same way. It will always be difficult for her to go through the paperwork of life with a capitalized letter in her name. To be honest, it looks like a typo.

Most people will shorten it to Ella anyway, so if you have to use this combo, go for Ella Rae and tell people that you want her to be called Ella Rae and not just Ella. You get what you want with less of the hassle.

I also don't care for Rae. Ray is a very masculine name to me by it's self, even if you spell it with an 'e'. You can still use the name, but twisted so that it is actually a very feminine middle name for the very feminine Ella.

Ella Raine or Ella Raven would be nice. And all of those names are feminine and have meaning behind them.

I would do Ella and any middle name that starts with Ra, like Rachel, Raquelle, anything you like and call her Ella Rae...like I like Bobbie-Jo and so I would do Bobbie Joanna and call her that, or Bobbie-Jo Elinor, do you see how those just flow? for you you could also do, Ella-Rae Tiffany, for example

So cute!  I love Ella Rae as two names.  Or if you wanted, you could do Ella Rae ________ __________...  Like two middle names.  Ella Rae Michelle.  Ella Rae Christine?  I'm not fond of how that sounds, but you get the idea.  :)  Ella Rae is SO cute.  My friend's daughter is Ella Raine.

First and middle name. No one will ever get it right if it's one long name like Ellarae, and a lot of computer programs won't allow spaces or capitals in a name, so EllaRae and Ella Rae could be a huge pain as a first name. Ask anyone named JoAnne or Jo-Ann or Jo Anne how much fun it is! I would go Ella (Rae), and call her both.

I would make the first name Ella and the middle name Rae. Both of the names are very cute and beautiful, and if you decide to use them as one name make it Ella-Rae.
