Ok, let me explain a bit about what I am looking for in terms of what I want to do. I don't really even want to "walk down an isle" I just want to rent a dress and stand there and get married and what not.. I dont need to dance or do all that stuff.. I am pretty simple, it will be just my fiancee and I and I just basically want to wear a dress and get pictures. ha. I definately don't want to be cheesy though and do the elvis thing.. so here is a list of all the chapels, if someone could give me some advice on some of these places, like go here or stay away from this place.. etc..

  1. You sound like i did, when i was trying to decide what i wanted to do.

I didn't want anything to fancy or cheesy, and yet i ended up picking the Graceland Chapel.

And yes Elvis led me down aisle, we had a blast (hubby & i) just the 2 of us. Did we have to dance? No. Did we? Kinda.....lol

Would i do it again? Yes in a heart beat, was cheap and like i said just the 2 of us.

  2. hubby & I got married at the Excalibur Wedding Chapel & it was AWESOME!

it was a small, intimate deal.  it wasn't TOO expensive.  (now this is going back 6.5 years) and it was classy.  LOVED IT!!

they do everything for you.  flowers, champagne, 2 night stay.  this is all depending on the package you choose.

  3. My understanding is that the Little church of the West is a longtime favorite for the simple non-cheezy ceremony.

For a less expensive option the Wee Kirk is a few blocks from downtown. Your guests can get inexpensive rooms nearby and you can have an affordable wedding dinner. This is possibly the oldest wedding chapel in Vegas. The neighborhood is not as run down as many of the other chapels on the strip.

  4. We got married at the little chapel of the west last September it was fnatastic no cheese felt like a nice meaniful but short cermony in a lovely building best day of mylife. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2412/2052...
