I need some help finding sand!!!!

I live in michigan and need to find colored sand for our sand ceremony dose anyone know where I can find something like this? Thank you for your help!

I am from michigan also.

I went to Michaels here in Troy and they have colored sand. Also my fiance has a fish tank and you can go to stores like Pet connection in Livonia off of 5 mile and middle belt for colored sand.

You could go on Craigs list? They have lot's of free stuff. Sometimes people even give away sand, or dirt.

Or eBay?

But, i know that Ikea has coloured sand. I'm not sure if they have it in Michigan though.

Regular play sand comes in HUGE bags & can be colored with food dye, but the colors won't be a vibrant.

You can check out aquarium stores/depts as they might be cheaper than craft stores.

As far as containers, check out Michael's Crafts.  Depending on what you want, they have lidded containers for a couple $$  (as well as colored sand)

Hardware stores sell sand. I buy play sand (ordinary sand you'd find in a sand box) for my gerbils from a hardware store, but they also sell more expensive packages of pink sand, and possibly some other colours. I think people use it for driveways or something.

you can order it online, but i probably say you could go to a pet store, they use it for reptiles and its cheap, you can get anything from a normal color to neon blues and greens

Just a simple pet store they sell sand for reptiles and fish. There are many colors.

pet supply shop...one that specializes in tropical fish...they will have a variety of colored sands for aquariums in small amounts...check it out.
