I need some help for my first tattoo!!!?

I would like to get a tatto on my back or somewhere in a scroll font which says something meaningful about life. I want it to represent strength and what i have been through in my life. I am now past that point and can finally be happy...and am getting the tattoo to more or less remind myself its over and i made it on my own and that im a better person for it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

Since a tattoo is permanent you really need to think about it and decide if it's something you can live with when you're 50 years old. Don't get anything "trendy" or dated because you WILL regret it later on down the road. I don't think the tattoo should be of actual words or phrases though, but instead find a picture/object/design that symbolizes all of those things to you. That way you will be reminded of your journey everytime you look at it. It doesn't matter if other people know exactly what it means, you're not doing it for them. =)

There are many symbols or animals that mean things such as strength, like a dragon. You could always get a phrase like "Live everyday as if it was your last" or something along those lines.
