I need some help for questions for a book?

for "Tess of the d'Ubervilles"

can anyone help me come up with a title for the book that represents the theme of the story,

and also select a good symbol for it(and why its good)

"A Tale of Desperation, Misfortune and Redemption"

Stonehenge is believed to be a pagan temple.  Tess falls asleep on an altar, symbolizing she's sacrificing herself.  There are several references about Tess and her spirituality (though they range from Christian to heathen).
