In parallelogram ABCD (it looks like the normal parallelogram), Angle ABC is 150' , BC= 6, AB=10 i have to find the area. A is upper left, b is upper right, D is lower left, and C is lower right.

  1. 60. in all parellograms, all u hav 2 do 2 find the area is 2 mulitiply 2 sides that r next next 2 each other (cause the side that is accross is the same measurement). hope this helps!


  2. This is a trigonometry question. You just need to find the height. The height is the line from B going down that makes a 90 degree angle with the line DC.

    Note that the the angle created at the top of the triangle is 60 degrees.

    150 degrees - 90 degrees because the line you drew and AB make a 90 degree angle.

    So, cos(60) = height/hypotenuse = height/6

    Therefore, height = 6*cos(60) = 3

    So area of your parallelogram is base* height = 10 * 3 = 30

    Sorry I couldn't explain better, It'd be a lot easier if I could give you a diagram.
