I need some help on what to bring for highschool!?

so i live in cali and will be going into California High School next yr!!! does any1 kno on what i should bring for the first day of skool? do i need a backpack anymore or can i use a purse?

ok dont bring anything except a pencil and a couple of sheets of paper cause last year i bought a whole bunch of folders and pens and pencils that i didnt even use

There should be a list for what is required.

If you like to bring a purse, b.c the ladies at my school like bring a purse..

I myself just bring a binder.

but on "C Days" i bring my backpack.

Also bring a attitude to try not to procrastinate

The way first days of my high school would work is that teachers would tell us what we would need for their class.  Then I would go out and get everything later.  Usually I would need a binder and paper for every class.   Girls at my school used a backpack more than a purse, but most of them had a purse anyway.

About half - 3/4 of the girls in my school use a purse/tote instead of a backpack.

Bring cloth book covers, notebooks for each class, folders for each class, calculator, mechanical pencils... everything else can wait until you get a supply list directly from the teacher.

Totes are good, most of my friends find them easier to carry around than a backpack.

Also, bring pencils, erasers, binders for each class lots of extra lined paper, pens, and if you have lockers and are not provided with a lock, make sure you have one.
