I need some help putting on a wetsuit

I always seem to struggle getting my arms through the sleeves to be able to zip up my wetsuit. I also have trouble getting my wetsuit pulled up to my waist. Any ideas on how to be able to put my wetsuit on easier?

  1. get a new bigger strechy one!

  2. Suit juice.

I'm not kidding, there's actually a product called this that you can purchase or you can make your own version. Here's a link to the commercially made product: http://www.moosejuice.com/?pageName=Suit...

Many of my pals make their own version, using 10% Dove soap mixed with water in a hand pump spray bottle. Skin friendly, wet suit friendly, cheaper, easier to find and bio degradable.

Either are especially helpful when it comes to putting on wet gloves too.

  3. Put a plastic shopping bag over your foot, the suit should glide over it. Then remove the plastic bag, do the same with the other foot and then the hands/arms.

With respect to pulling it up to your waist, pull each leg to the knee as you put on, then the thigh, then the crotch. Doing it in smaller steps makes it easier than pulling at the waist like you would with jeans.

  4. Slimfast, or pour dish soap (not detergent) into your suit. KY also helps.
