I need some help with Itunes please, its annoying me?

When I import a cd onto itunes, with some cds it seperates all the tracks so they dont show as one album- but lots of separate tracks, what is going on and how do i stop it doing this?

  1. Yes it's d**n annoying when you don't know how to do it !!

    Long time since I sorted it out and because mine is all in order now I'm not sure if this the exact way of doing it but it's something like this, give it a go. select one of the tracks from the album and right click on the pic. Then select change sort, then select album. I think that's it, if it is, you'll watch them all roll back into place !


  2. It depends if the C.D is copied or bought from the shops. If its a copy the tracks may be named differently even the slightest mistake e.g. capital letter on one but not on the other could cause the songs to be seperated.

  3. was the CD a complilation?

    if so then you need to match all the CD info. ie- album artist you can put "Various", then tick the "Part of a compilation" box at the bottom


  4. Click on the Edit menu and select Preferences.  CLick on the Advanced Tab and then select "Keep iTunes folder Organized".
