I need some help with a laptop?

Question

I want a very good laptop, which shud have a very high processing speed mostly for games and multimedia apps.

I selected the Dell XPS M1730 with the following specs.:

What do you think?

The total cost is about INR2,40,000 (approx. US$6000).

Is this a good deal?

this laptop is good. since it has blueray drive.. but i dont really think that's of great use.. i still prefer something cheaper yet matches that laptop specs.. consider looking at this..

you could just buy external blu-ray drive at lower price external blue-ray drive price.. in 500$ you already have a blu-ray external drive plus in $2500, you can already have one of the best laptops...

consider looking at macbooks too.. mac osx is way better than vista.

Features are really good but Price is too High.

Think something around $1200 us . If you really need Blue-Ray disc drive then at this time it is expensive. You are getting double SATA harddrives and 4GB ram.

I would say deal is not good but as for your requirements the system is really good. Buy it if you really afford it and you will enjoy it.

While I have no doubt that the laptop would be a fantastic machine, I think that the price is outrageous and that a mature person wouldn't spend that much money on a laptop.

  What I'm getting at is that's an enormous amount of money to spend in order to play games, and it's overkiill.

   You will never fill up your 1/2 T of disk space, or use 4gb of ram, or even use the integrated camera.

    I think that you can find something that will suit your gamer's needs for less money.
