i want to mount an old whipper snipper motor to my bike. i have everything figured out but i have a problem. the motor i am planning to use has no idle, when you start it, it spins right away. this is a problem because if i mount it to my bike i wont be able to stop. when i start it it would take off and there would be no neutral gear. so my question is how would i mount it to the bike and be able to have a neutral gear? thanks

  1. Try an electric clutch from a cars ac compressor.

Or put a big pulley on your wheel and small one on the motor, use another pulley with a lever to make it tight or loose to control it.
