Ok, I have a media card for my Blackberry Pearl and I transferred music files straight to my media card (not my music) on my phone...However, I can't find the music on my BB now!

How do I access the music on my phone if I transferred them straight to the media card?

  1. Hi-

Not sure how you access your card. Two way, Through your phone with the USB cable or a media reader. Either should be no problem.

    So here is my process.

    1. My SD card is inserted in my Blackberry.

    2. I plugged the USB cable to my Blackberry.

    3. A messages displays " Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode?" Say yes to this.

    4. If window should appear on your computer. Choose "view folder" if not go to "My Computer" You should see another drive letter called Blackberry (E:) or something to that matter. Open it

    5. Their is a folder called "Blackberry" open it

    6. In this foder there are other foders. This is how Blackberry stores all your info on the SD card. their should be a folder for "Music". Open it

    7. Copy your music/mp3 to this folder.

    8. Unplugged the USB cable form the Blackberry.

    9. On the main screen of the Blackberry, go to the Media player icon and open it.

    10. Select Music

    11. Press the menu button and press all songs.

You should now see all the songs you have loaded.

Mind you that Blackberry models varies. I too have a BB 8130 so you should have no problems navigtiting around.

    Let me know
