  1. No, they both have access to total RAM.

  2. I agree with CEN's answer.

I'd just like to add that if You are Admin A,

and when Admin B was logged on that person left programs running such as email, chat room, and any other such programs that draw memory resources (RAM)

then that could make the computer run slower for them

AND for you, even though you switched users.

In Control Panel > Start Up > you can turn off programs that run constantly, and automatically at StartUp.

except you do want to leave your anti-virus running at all times.

Notes:  You will notice remarkable drop in computer speed with there is very low ROM (free hard drive space),

and when large "hoggy" programs are left running, such as Adobe, Photo programs, Intense Graphics Games, Word, Excel, Norton Anti-Virus, other Norton products,

    Chat rooms/messengers, etc.

At times, simply Restarting your PC can help to close programs running in the background, and refresh your pc.

  3. I think you may be slightly confused about what RAM is used for. Ram is kind of like short term memory. It is where all applications and operations are stored while they are running. So unless you and the other administrator are logged on at the same time, you always have the whole 1.5 GB of ram. Even if you are both logged on to the computer simultaneously, the other users state is saved to the hard drive to allow you to be as efficient as possible during your work session. The system would resume where it left off with the other user once you log off. And if you meant hard drive space, then the hard drive is not split up into sections. It is entirely available to both users. Kind of like first come first serve basis. Well i hope i answered your question. Hope i could help!

  4. RAM is used by all running processes.  Let's call the 2 administrators "Admin A" and "Admin B"

If the only person who is logged in is Admin A, then he is also the only user who is using any RAM.

If only Admin B is logged in, then Admin A is not using any RAM.

If both Admin A and Admin B are logged in at the same time, and they both have several running processes, then the RAM is distributed amongst all the processes, regardless of owner.

  5. The ram doesn't care whos signed on. It does the tasks its given.

  6. depends how much each admin is useing the memory is like a pool of water with 2 people swimming in it. its being shared so it will very.
