  1. Have tacos for dinner, just because people usually eat pizza at parties, and tacos provide variety.

Snack on raw veggies w/ dip, Sun Chips, salsa, and oatmeal cookies (yum!)

This is my favorite cake recipe EVER-

Bake a boxed cake from betty crocker or duncan hines (doesn't really matter) follow directions on the box as usual.

Let the cake cool, and stab it with a fork all over (trust me on this one)

Heat up some jello mix and water over the stovetop, and pour over the cake evenly. refrigerate for a couple hours.

Frost to your liking and keep it in the fridge!

*** My favorite cake is german chocolate with dark cherry jello and whipped cream for frosting- like a chocolate-covered cordial cherry.

Good luck, and happy birthday!!! ;)

  2. Have theme party, check this website for more ideas http://www.pinatas.com/Theme_Party_Suppl...

  3. These are just some of the things my daughter used at her 17th party, and it was a successful and fun party for her friends and herself (all girls).

    Tacos with all the fixins

Mexican 7 layer dip with dipping size Fritos

    Sodas

Boxed cake mixes made at home are excellent because they are the freshest!

For decorations:  Lots of streamers hung everywhere.  They are inexpensive, easy to put up, and look very festive.

Games:  TWISTER.  (They played that one and laughed till their stomachs hurt.) There were other games too, but I can't think of them.

This was her party last year, and it turned out great.

    Good Luck!

  4. just  dont  blab  it out on  myspace  or bebo  that your having a  party  ,  how  about  sausages and  chips  for  everyone

  5. I just turned 16 myself.

i based my party on the 1950's. I turned my Kitchen into a dinner with homemade menu's and served hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes for dessert. we had a hula-hoop contest to see who could go the longest.  I had 50's music playing in the background too. everyone had a blast. I even wore a poodle skirt.

  6. Drinking games!!!!
