I need some ideas for quick, easy, and fairly cheap lunch ideas (for adults)?

I eat the usual pb & j, and lunch meat sandwiches often. I also take frozen meals on occasion. Rarely do I take leftovers, but I do cook dinner daily, so I could do that more often.

I am going to be working & going to school for a continuous 14 hours (for three days a week) and need something that I can pack in the morning that would still be good by 5:00 - 6:00. I do have access to a microwave and a fridge most of the day.

Thank you in advance

  1. Since you have access to a frige I would suggest 1x a week cooking up a few chicken b*****s (marinate them in your fav marinate first)  Make up a huge salad (if you dry the lettuce well and do no put any dressing on it,  it will last almost all week)  Take a nice salad w/ some sliced chicken breast on top.  I even throw some grapes and nuts on my salads. Pack a little dressing and you are good to go!

Doing the same thing w/ pasta is a nice change if you get sick of the greens.  Top your pasta w/ chicken (or any other cooked protien) some veggies then toss w/ some type of vinegarette.
