I need some ideas from the creative thinkers here..?

I would appreciate it if as many people can give me ideas on making creating a simple experiment that I would need to do myself... one person I know is using a few coins tossing them into the air and seeing how many times they land on heads.. I have no clue of something simple to do for an experiment. Thanks for all your help!

I'm not sure which class this is for (the coin experiment sounds as if it is about probability).

For a science class you could test the strength of different materials - get equal lengths of different materials (e.g. cloth, string, thread, wool, cooked spaghetti etc) and suspend them from some sort of bar.

You can see how strong they are using weights (the tiny ones you get in school for experiments) which you tie on the end. Start with the smallest weight. If it doesn't break, progress to the next heaviest weight and so on. Record which weight each material snaps at to see which one is the strongest.

see how far you can drop an egg with out it breaking.... just make sure you make it always land on the same side (by using a slide or something)
