I work in a bank, and can assure you that the value of silver certificates is based purely upon the value of silver in the market...in order to find this out, you would have to do a little research on the web to see what the value of silver is right now.  I know that it is worth slightly more (but not much) than the regular dollar.

If you had an older silver certificate, however, you may want to check on ebay, or some other auction site to see if there is some collector somewhere who is willing to buy the bill for more than it is worth as far as silver's value goes.
