I need some insurance advice?

I have got a place at the Northern Racing College to do my NVQ1 and obviously race horses are a little bit different and they all seem to have that little "spark" in them so the NRC have advised i take out some accident insurance incase of any accidents that may occur while i am there and also on a race yard after the 12 weeks at the NRC any comments that will be of help are really needed thanks and links to any site would be of a greater help

  1. try actual equine insurers because they do cover for this sort of thing not just horses i.e. rider insurance. also there may be things with general insurers such as norwich union^ that may bot cover you for things such as working with racehorses. type in equine insurance to google...some of the top of my head petplan equine, eandl, stoneways. hope this helps.


  2. As far as I understand it if you join the BHS you are automatically insured with them for riding any horse.
