I'm doing a sociology project that deals with images from magazines from a women's perspective and how those images are used to influence the way a woman thinks of herself and how she uses it to attract men.

You can also use People magazine, but it's readership is not exclusively designed to be women only like Cosmo.

Although reading your question again - you may want to look at the covers of Shape magazine they are always of women in bathing suits, but you know the men pick them up to browse. (Shape's audience is geared towards women)
