I need some make-up help!!!

Question

i need some help on make-up...i have bronzer, concealer, cover up, mascara, foundation, moisturizer, eyeliner, and chapstick...my questions:

1. steps to applying them (like first u apply this...etc)

2. how and where to apply them...

3. anything else I need???

i am new to this, and i am a thirteen year old, so i dont wanna wear TOO much and overdo it...

in my opinion if you are 13, you shouldnt be putting on foundation or concealer. Stick with eyeliner mascara a pretty eyeshadow to bring out your eyes and a lip gloss. im 16 and i dont wear foundation or face makeup. stick with your eyes. hope that helps!

1. Firstly, apply your moisturizer. This will help keep your make up last longer. Just dab the product on your face and blend into your skin. Then, apply your foundation. Do this by dabbing the foundation on different points on your face (for example, the nose, both cheeks and forehead) and blanding them all in circular motions. If your using a powder foundation, just apply it gently on your face in sweeping motions, but remember don't use too much of the product if you want a natural look.

Then apply your concealer. Many people apply this before foundation, but your foundation covers up most of your blemishes or acne if you have them so you'll be using less conealer if you apply this afterwards. Apply your concealer on any blemishes and gently dab them over the area to cover them.

It doesn't matter what order you apply the rest, but I usually do my eyeliner next. Sweep it gently on your waterline (the thin line nearest to your eye) but don't use too much. Just a little will accentuate your eyes and make them look bigger. Then, use your mascara. Sweep the brush lightly on your lashes.

Then apply your chapstick and bronzer. Concentrate your bronzer on your cheekbones, this will give your skin a smooth finish and a healthy glow.

Sorry, I don't know what cover-up is, I'm from the UK and we probably have a different name for it here...lol! :)

well mositurizer is first

then concealer/coverup.... apply it under the eyes if thats a problem area, or area where u have a bit of reddness

foundation... i really hate the cake ness of it so use a lil and build up

bronzer... on the highest points of ur face... cheeks, bridge of nose not tip, temple ( and quick tip use the 3E method... on the sides of ur face start at the temple and make a 3/E movement depending on which side ur on....

eyeliner and mascara

and chapstick b4 lipcolr (gloss. tint or lipstick)

since ur thirteen u can get away without foundation... it becomes a really bad habit... and make sure u do ur makeup in the brightest light preferably with sunlight... if not the kitchen tends to have brighter light... unless of course u have a vanity mirror with the light bulbs

Well honestly you can start with whatever you like. I usually start with the eyes. I apply eyeliner, then put some mascara on. (in case you don't know, eyeliner goes around the rims of your eyes. If you have darker hair and skin you should use a black eyeliner, but if not its best to go with a brown. don't apply to much, you don't want to look trampy. Mascara goes on your eyelashes.) then I usually put on my foundation and such. my lips are always last. A good clear lip gloss is good. It gives your lips that extra sheen without adding any color. Bronzer should be applied on your face where the sun would naturally "kiss" your skin. For example, along the bridge of your nose and on the apples of your cheeks and the top of your cheekbones. One of the most natural bronzers I've found, is Smashbox's Develop Compact Bronzer. Its great. just experiment with your look but remember-its better to under do it, than over do it

if ur 13 and dont wanna over do it, then just wear the mascara,

if not: make it a thin line, on the top of the eye lid on the bottom eye lashes, between them and the eyes, theres a little ledge, use the side of the liner to put some there, not below the lashes! hope it helps! go for a thin line! no liquid liner, it makes u look goth, if u get bronzer apply it like an upsidown comma too the hair line!

If you're 13. concealer shouldn't be needed just yet. And cover up and foundation shouldn't be needed either.

When I was 13 I would wear the following makeup products and in this order.

1. Eyeshadow, and at this age one neutral color should work.

2. A good eyeliner a brown or black brown would work

3. mascara any color

4. a little bit of blush a neutral color

5. a light color lipgloss

And other than that you should be good to go.

If you're wanting to put makeup on you face you can try a light powder.

ok,

(1) put moisturizer all over your face...

(2) put foundation on your face

(3) with bronzer start at the hight tip of your cheekbone and work your way down to the nose over the nose and the same to the other side....

(4) with eyeliner... pull your bottom eyelid down gently and color that part as if it was i marker... i wouldnt put it on the top unless your a dark tan...

(5) put mascara on your eyelashes....

(6) put chap stick then lip gloss it gives it a smother glow
