  1. 37 cm. cuz 24 + 24 is 48. the other two sides in order to equal 100 have to be 36 (100-48=72 and 72/2 is 36). but you said greater than 100 so 37 is ur answer.

  2. anything greater than 26. If the width is 24, and there are 2 width (one of each side) it makes 48. 100-48= 52, divided by 2 is 26. So if the length is 26 then adding up all the sides is 100. So anything more than 26, even 26.0000001 would give you +100 perimeter.

  3. If the width is 24 cm and you need the perimeter to be over 100 cm then simply subtract 24 from 100 = 76. Divide this by 2 for the 2 sides and you are left with 38. So the length of each side must be 38 or over

  4. set them equal, forget about the inequality for now.

    P = 100 = 2*24 + 2*L

    L = 1/2(100 - 48) = 26

    L > 26 cm

  5. perimeter of rect= 2x + 2y

    (2 x 24) + (2 x ?) > 100

    2 x ? > 100-48

    2 x ? > 52

      x > 26
