I need some opinions on this motorcycle.?

Question

First off lets start by saying that I am an experienced rider with over 15 years so I don't need the "Get Rider Training c**p"

My bike was stolen in February and I am finally gonna get another one but I want some opinions on ths bike, I went & test rode it today & totally fell in love with it. OOOOO The Power.

Who thinks this is a good bike?

V-Stars are nice.  Lots of guys like 'em, there's really not much bad to say about them.  They have the right look, the right sound, they handle and perform well etc. etc. etc.

But as an aspiring hopefully someday member of the Slimey Crud Motorcycle Gang, I spit on your Japanese motorcycle.

I'm not a big fan of Yamaha myself, but I know they make decent quality bikes. But if you're all about the power, check out triumph, they have a 2.4 liter three cylinder bike, can't remember the model name right now.

Or, if you want to get silly about the power, there's always the V8 power BossHoss

i can't say anything definitive about the raider, but i have some time on a v-star, and that's a decent bike. i imagine the raider's basically the same

If you want power get the Suzuki M109R.....Also look for things like water cooled and hydraulic clutch in a new bike....I think the raider has ...NEITHER

if you have ridden the bike and love it...buy it

none of the major motorcycle manufacturers makes a "bad" bike

the engine in that bike has been around for a few years now and as far as I know has no problems...

Yamaha V-star are one of the most popular motorcycle around.  I think they are the one that taking Harley riders away from Harley Davidson!  

Buy it and enjoy it!
