I need some really good books to read for winter do you?

know of any that tell stories of like bad storms in the old days and how people survived or floods and how they made it.Im talking like the prarie pioneer days.How they did it all in flods and storms is beyond me and i love to read of those stories so doo you know any good books or authors?

I guess it depends on the type of books you are looking for: I don't have much on stories that deal with "storms" But on the other hand, I am an avid reader and love books. Depending on how old you are, I have a couple books from my office collection that I think would be of some use:

"In the Country of the Young" by Lisa Carey

"A Swift Pure Cry" by Siobhan Dowd

"The Widow of the South" by Robert Hicks

"Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult

"Breakdown Lane" by Jacquelyn Mitchard

((Look for all these on Amazon, they are some of my personal favorites.))

They may not have to do with an actual storm, but they do deal with storms that life deals us!

If anything, these are great fiction novels that most definately worth reading. I promise!
