  1. I painted my room with 2 walls a dark red and 2 walls white.  I am into black and white photography and such so it looked really good.

  2. I would definately do the rainbow idea. and if you cant choose.. just do part of the room rainbow, where its split, and the other part red or green. Right now, my rooms bright yellow! I also have posters all over, so you could do that, if you dont already have tons!

  3. You could try PBTeen or Delia's That's a little more girly I love Pottery Barn Teens Its so cool and they have a lot of cool things  but it can get expensive fast.

But if not try Bed Bath and Beyond or Lines and Things

  4. If you are the artistic type, you could put in a mural that you did yourself, then you just pick a color that coordinates (or doesn't, if you so desire) with it to finish out the walls.

Is wall paper an option? Some of the "victorian-style" paper might look very cool paired with a mural or a solid color that you like. There are also some really neat "stick on" things that might appeal to you. Just remember, whatever you do--it's not permanent, so as long as your parents are understanding and have the funds, you can paint over it if you hate it. Have fun!
