I need some tennis help?

Ok, i'm first doubles for my highschool. Me and my partner are decent and we communicate really well. I have a really good first serve, and a decent second serve. My forehand can be really really good sometimes, but overall, its average-above average. My volleys are not spectacular, but about a 7 out of 10. Now the thing i need to work on is hitting a decent backhand. I mean, i get lucky sometimes and get a once in a million shot with my backhand, but its not consistent. I would really appreciate it if you guys help me make it better. I would appreciate it if it is a one handed backhand with a lot of spin, but two hands is good too. Thanks!!!

  1. I prefer doing two-handed backhands.  It's the same as forhand, but you have to get used to the direction you're swinging from.  Practice on a wall or with a friend and strictly work on your backhand.

  2. Two handed backhands usually genarate more power. The one handed backhand is kind of hard if you are not used to it. I play tennis and my backhand is better than my forehand!! I am using the two handed back hand right now. But both backhands can have a lot of spin if you are used to it.It`s your choice. Good Luck!!

  3. If you're already using a one-handed backhand, then stick with it. You should watch videos of how to hit a one-handed backhand. Look at players like Roger Federer, James Blake, and Tommy Haas to see how they do it.

Personally, I would just slice every ball on my backhand side, but that's just me :)
