  1. it is important to allow time for breaks

    try to have 15 minutes morning and afternoon, and make sure you stop for at least twenty minutes for lunch.

    think about how many different tasks you need to complete each day, and if some must be done before others.

    keep it simple. two or three tasks in each segment of your day.


  2. Have you tried making "to do" lists? They're great. Every morning I make a list - in order of priority - of everything I'd like to accomplish that day (try to make it realistic, though. I imagine you have some sort of daily routine that you follow, so just try to squeeze your errands in where you can). And as I move through my day and get stuff done, I check my list off. As long as I get the really high-priority stuff done, I'm content. If not, well, then, they'll have to wait until the next day.

    If you follow a general timetable, you'll probably find that you have extra time in the day to relax or just be spontaneous.
