9) The Constitution in general

11) Why gas prices are so high

12) Religion in general

13) Do you need more?

14) Same-s*x marriage

15) Stem Cell research

16) Nanotechnology (does it need more research? Corporations are already utilizing it.)

17) Evolution

18) Lowering the legal drinking age to 18 instead of 21 (This has become a recent issue that I read in the paper.)

19) Good idea for the Olympics to be held in communist China? Should we even be participating?

20) Smoking being allowed in public places.

21) Cloning (Would you eat cloned meat?)

Truthfully? I don't like arguing as much as the next person.

i had a class that did debates...and altho i know you dont have to doa  debate, these are good topics that you could do a very good argumentive speech on!

btw, the first answerer had very good ideas as well

i know its already listed, but abortion

legalizing prositution (do some research on why it SHOULD be legalized. its interesting when you see both sides!)

homeschooling

euthanasia

making spanking illegal

g*y marriage

lowering the US drinking age to 18

wearing school uniforms

jsut some ideas!

Politics or religion are always good topics for an argument. They are two I ALWAYS stay away from in a conversation.

1--Is it a right for all to have medical insurance? Should the Government pay?

2--Why do we have a Congress that is so focused on demonizing the opposing party? Are the American people be served by partisan politics?

3--In the great European migration, we had Ellis Island to process immigrants; health screening,sponsors,ability to read and speak English--why don't we have a similar process available for the Mexican workers/immigrants?

4--When does life begin? (you might have to step carefully with this one)
