I need some tricks to do on a Skim Board.?

Handstands.

Spins.

Ride up the water and dive in.  Risky.

Wish I had video of my brother.  He discovered skimming in the 60s and was typically the only one on the beach doing it.

what style do you skim?   if you ride along the shore you can do shove-its. that's where you spin the board 180 degrees but your body jumps  and doesn't spin... if you want to know what  shove-it looks like go to youtube and type in pop- shove-its.. pop shove-its are the skateboarding version of it but if you know how to do one on a skateboard you can do one on a skim board....but then there's the other type of skimming....its pro skimming..... you ride into the water and its like surfing you got to carve when you hit the wave to turn around..or if you time it right you go of the wave as a jump and do some 360's or 180's.... if your doing that type of skim boarding you want to have a different board..A good company that makes those type of boards are Zap skim boards... there more like mini surf board and there thicker and made of different stuff... they cost more but are better for real skim boarding... if you want to be able to do tricks then you need a kickplate. they sell them at every surf shop. you can try to turn the around...like you go one direction and then turn the board around to go the other direction. you can try a cool jump and hold the tail of your skimboard!
