I need some urgent hermit crab help!

Question

Okay so I just got two hermit crabs because my other ones friend died.

Yeah, I got them yesterday and I guess one has decided to molt. Because he's buried himself. Well I didn't have any saltwater available,

will my hermit be okay if he didn't have any saltwater, and I have heard they need it to break the exoskeleton. So will he be fine without it to molt?

What other precautions should I take seeing how I have two others.

I isolated him kinda, i put a cup around the area he buried himself.

he will be fine. salt water is not a totally urgent thing its needed of course

but if he didn't get any that day its not a problem just have the salt water in there in case he decided to come out. also your other hermit crabs could of died because you might have gotten them from a fair if you get crabs from fairs they always die and if your positive your crab is molting and the other crab is not you should separate them if your worried they might fight during the other crabs molting process e-mail me at [e-mail]
