Okay, I need help getting a picture on a page but with a backround. Like a picture of something and then in the backround have a two colours, I can do that but the picture isn't a regular shape so it has a a white space in the back to make it regular. Then the colours stop or overlaps the picture, which makes it look weird, I can't really explain it, if you need more information please e-mail me.

Thanx!

  1. What program are you using?

  2. i am not really good at computer but your Q i can think of the following :

    1. IN EXCEL, click on the  rectangle object icon (pictures toolbar) and draw it on excel. Double click the object to fill the object color (you may click NO LINE to the object) .

    2. Repeat step 1 to draw another rectabgle object fill with another color (but no line).

    3.  Place the two object close to each other. Press SHIFT & click to the two object, then right mouse click-GROUP. Now the 2 objects become 1 object. Right mouse click again & click send to back. So this object will be the 'BACKGROUND'.

    4. Now copy the picture/s you want from either PAINTS / microsoft image manger or ...to excel (right mouse click on the picture and go to excel right mouse click and paste)   or  at the picture window , press PRINT SCREEN, go to excel and paste it. If you print screen, you need to crop the picutres so that you won't see any unwanted window lines / menu /... on the excel.

    5.  Move the CROPPED image to the object created using step 1 to 3

    6.  Position the images to the desired position. Your image should be on top of the object (the 2 rectangles) since you already send the object TO THE BACK.

    7. Now group the image and object together  as ONE object

    8. right mouse click, cut or copy & paste to paint / miscrosfot image manager ...etc.

FINALLY, you got what you want. Does it ?

    Hope the above help.

    sorry, if this doesn't help.
