I need someone to decode this dream for me...

It starts out with me in an 1800's town/village, and everything looks like the colors of the pictures were back then. A woman is crying out to everyone to help her find her son, to which she asks me and I help. By the time she's done asking people, there are about 30 people with us. A flash happens and once everthing becomes visible again, there are only 5 people, including myself and the woman (in which she has two knives), and we're all bloody, but the blood isn't ours and we enter what seems to be the house we haven't searched. Going upstairs, there are two doors, one in front of us, the other to our left. The woman starts stabbing both doors to hear her mother and daughter. Next thing we know, we hear what seems to be a very big man and the woman drops one of her weapons, going ballistic on the door, to which she accidently gives a fatal neck wound. Bleeding to death on the floor, the door opens to show her son speaking with a deep voice. A boy comes in with a camera and takes a picture of us, while the woman is still bleeding. The woman dies, with her face having a terrified look. As we leave, the grandmother doesn't seem to understand why the woman died, and I try to explain. The boy, who is about 15 feet ahead of us, asks what I'm trying to say and says my name in the process (I haven't told ANYONE my name). So I try to explain to him why, to which he replies something to these three quotes because I can't remember: "Her sins-" "Our sins-" "Their sins have to do-" with something. Some people enter what looks to be a 1950's car and before the son enters the car, he makes the same face the baby the devil is holding in The Passion of the Christ makes when Jesus is being whipped. He enters the car, making it a total of 6 people, and I wake up, burning hot while the room is freezing cold.

What does this dream mean? What is it trying to tell me?

  2. Have you been thinking lately about how we, in the last decade, have been reaping "payback" for the sins nations committed back in the 1800s, and even in the 1950s.  Because it is true.  Much of the trouble in our world today is rooted in sins the western nations committed against other countries and peoples over the past 2-3 decades.  It's not a comfortable thought, but it is a fact.  When nations take what does not belong to them, steal resources, and enslave or colonize whole nations and populations of people, sooner or later, the bill comes due.

Actually, for over 50 years now the U.S. and her allies have been paying through wars, terrorism, and other problems nationally, internationally and globally.  It seems to me it could get a whole lot worse, because there is no way to try to fix the wrongs without hurting some other group of people. So, it is a harsh situation, and satan is laughing because he was working in all of it.

There is a passage in the Bible that explains it:

17 "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. 18 You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the fathers' sins into the laps of their children after them. O great and powerful God, whose name is the LORD Almighty, 19 great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to all the ways of men; you reward everyone according to his conduct and as his deeds deserve.

    Jeremiah 32:17-19

God doesn't really have to make this happen.  It happens because the oppressed people have had ENOUGH and decide to rebel against their oppressors.  Even after they have been legally "freed" they are still poorere and have less advantages and resources than they might have had if they had not been robbed for several generations.  Losses like this take a long time to rebuild, and wounded hearts cannot heal until the oppressors confess their sins and ask God to forgive them and show them what can be done to make things right.

Only God can do this, because the problems that have been created are bigger than we know how to fix.  But God says:

" 'But if they will confess their sins and the sins of their fathers—their treachery against me and their hostility toward me, 41 which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies—then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin, 42 I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.     Leviticus 26:40-42

God spoke these words to the ancient nation of Israel, but these words are true for us today as well.

    He also says:

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

    2 Chronicles 7:14

We can't make everyone repent, but if each one of us who realizes the truth will admit it, instead of  loudly defending ourselves and our "rights" God will hear us and help us.

Many, many Christians today would say what I am saying is wrong.  Many of them call themselves "the conservative right," and loudly proclaim their patriotism... their love for America.  They have the opinion, "America, right or wrong!" and say no one has the right to say our nation has sinned and has a debt to pay.  This is strange, because it goes against the very Bible they claim to believe!

If this continues, there is no hope for God to help us.  But, if some of us pray... who knows?  God would have saved Sodom and Gomorrah if only 5 righteous people could have been found, I supposed.  I think we have a few more than that.

We who realize the truth must stand in the gap and confess the guilt of our nation and our forefathers.  We may not personally feel responsible, but we can be spokesman for our people before God and satan and the people our nation has harmed.  God will bless every effort and multiply it.

God has spoken through your dream I believe.  Will you join me in praying for God to forgive us and heal our land?
