What's value of your band and its' music? Does this have a monetary value? Will you expect people/fans to pay for downloads and merchandise or will you give this all away for free? Perhaps you have a mommy or daddy that pays your bills for you? Or maybe you have a benefactor that will foot your bills. Do you pay for the gas in your car's tank? What about when you go to the grocery? Do they give you your bread and eggs for free? What's the value of that?

You'd probably save up your dollars to do a demo disk right? What's the value of that? Got an EPK? What's the value of that? Well that logo and identity has value, it's part of your package.

If you are serious about your band, and it's future then you need to buck up and act like a grown up business and value it. Your logo and identity are part of your brand. So pay it forward Bunky. If you aren't willing to do what it takes as a business to grow the business of your band, you aren't ready for the big time. Seriously.

The value of free is nothing by the way. And when you say you want your identity and brand for nothing, it says a lot about what you really think about your band. Think about it.
