So i had this dream once but I cant seem to get it out of my mind.

I am standing at a huge river...everyone is going crazy, panicing. there is a bridge its uncrossable. It is my job to get everyone across. I am calm and its my job to stay calm and make sure everyone is across and safe.

I keep asking myself what my purpose in life is, and this same picture keeps popping in my head.

Can someone help me figure out what this means?

  1. Well, the river probably is the path of life and the bridge the shortcut, easier way of crossing it or a safety place. You're calm, so you are guiding people to make their life a happy one and when they have problems, you encourage and manage to get them across safely. Maybe you should have a job which involves helping people or as an advisor or a teacher or something like that, you seem very eager to help and able to solve a problem quickly. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion.

  2. It seems pretty straight forward, you are here to help people through the toughest of times. Dreams don't mean anything though.

  3. Ask yourself why bridges were created.

To get from point A to point B with little effort. Right?   If a bridge was not built, then it would be difficult or impossible to get from point A to point B because the thing that lies beneath the bridge is an obstacle.  In this case I assume it's water (which represents emotions)

The dream is telling you that you will have to figure out how to cross this uncrossable bridge in order to keep moving forward in your life.  Your life will be tough at times, but by managing your emotions in a calm and reasonable way, while you journey through life's ups and downs, you will figure it out.

Problem solving while staying calm with your head above water can be difficult, but the dream seems to indicate you can do it if you stay focused.

The people in your dream that are freaking out are just different aspects of your personality.
