the wedding is in august and it is outside. Do you think its to casual for a wedding? its not a casual nor is it a fancy wedding, its just a normal wedding. and its in the country.

  1. go with the second one. it is adorable. I love it.  The first one is cute too, but it just seems the distressing makes it a little too casual for a wedding.  It almost looks like you dropped bleach on it, which I LOVE, but being as this is not THAT casual of a wedding I'd go with option number two.

  2. I think it is too casual for a wedding and that people might think you just threw on a rag from your closet

would be much better and 10 dollars less

  3. yes i think it's wayyyyy to casual

the plaid is a bad idea

  4. i think the first dress is to casual for the occasion but its really pretty

the 2nd dress is a lot better its not to casual but not to dressy prefect for a wedding

  5. i don't wanna be mean but to tell u the truth i really don't think its a good dress for a wedding it looks like u r about to go to the beach.

  6. The first dress is a definite no.  The black one is nice!  I would use some accessories with it though, to dress it up a little.

  7. For a rehearsl dinner, maybe the second one.  You need something a bit more polished.  Try Target or Ross if you aren't trying to spend alot of $$$$$.  Just because it isn't fancy doesn't mean you have to be soooo casual.  Also try Davids Bridal....look in the party dress section.  They have cute party dresses that aren't so dressy.

  8. honestly it just doesn't seems to be wedding appropriate,

    sorry.

    Best of luck

  9. I would go with the second one, the first is kind of ugly...

  10. well first of all if its a summer wedding, plaid is the wrong way to go! plaid is more winter than summer. second of all its very, very casual. go to bloomingdales.com, go to cocktail dresses, there are simple but classy dresses, that woud be suitable for a summer wedding. hope i helped :)

  11. I think either dress is appropriate. You can dress them up or down as need be.

My personal opinion is I like the 2nd one better, but they are both equally suitable for a "normal" outdoor/country wedding.

  12. I don't like the dress especially for a wedding.  The bleached out spots is a little much to wear for a wedding.  For other occasions that is casually it would probably be OK

  13. hmmm if you like it then it is okay but I personally am not a fan of the bleached spots. Maybe in a different color.

    Definitely the second dress.

  14. I honestly think the second dress(black dress) looks better but I wouldn't wear the first dress on the picture. Good luck.

  15. I really prefer the second one. The messy/old looking clothes thing is popular, but it really isn't appropriate for a wedding. You have time to get something appropriate, so spend your money on something without stains.

  16. They're both a bit over the top.  I'd wear something a bit more formal - and those colors - they actually evoke a feeling something akin to nausea.

  17. For what it's worth...I like dress #2

  18. Honey, the first one is yuck. The second one is okay, but still a bit too casual for a wedding. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Good luck with finding a dress, I hope the wedding day is magical :)

  19. altho i know the bleech spots are fashionista like...

if i saw you walk in a room, i'd wonder why you wore something that you got out of your laundry room that you accidentally spilled bleech on.

the second one is amazing! i wore a lil blue dress like this last night for a college graduation party, with a light white zip up hooded jacket thing...and everyone loved it! :)

  20. I like the second one better...the solid color makes it a little nicer and more formal.  I like the first one, but not for a wedding.

  21. You can really wear what ever you want to a wedding. Its a cute dress and it does look a little country but you could always dress it up a bit with accessories if you feel like your too casual. Also I think for being outside it would help you to be comfortable. Remember there will be someone there that looks worse than you.

  22. hmm..if its for the country then maybe.

personally i dont really like the bloched out spots thats on it..i dont really like it..but it would work..

  23. I would have to agree with most; since we can be honest...the dresses are wayyyyyy to laid back. They look like beach dresses; but they are cute...This is what I have in mind when I think of a country wedding.((see link below) I'm not sure how old you are; but if this is too dressy you can tone it down w/ accessories... Have Fun!!!

  24. The bleach spot dress is way too casual for a wedding. (I personally think it is ugly, but that is beside the point)

The tiered dress could work. I would go with that one if it is between the two.

Besides, the wedding is about the bride! No one will really be looking at you, provided you don't look sloppy. Since it is in summer and outside you don't have to wear pantyhose either. Wear summery heels but no flip flops. LOL. Of course.

You can dress up any dress if you wear your hair in a pretty up do or twist.

And don't forget to spray some bug repellant on yourself! I forgot to once at a garden/outside wedding and I got eaten alive!!!

  25. you asked for honest opinions and im afraid your going to get them too.. honestly..?? no, its not approperate.. it looks like a dress that is old and has bleach spots all over it, do you really want to wear a dress to a wedding that looks like you are dirt poor and cant manage your own laundry?

  26. i would say that it is a bit too casual for a weddding

  27. i like the second one

  28. Is it the kind of dress that you would wear to a very nice restaurant? If yes, the by all means wear it and have a good time. Remember people are there to see the bride,so long as your outfit does not upstage the bride, you are fine.

  29. I like the second one.....the bleach spot dress is too casual.
