Question:

I need something flexible to go round the bottom of my corner shower. Needs to be about 8in Deep. Any ideas?

The shower is raised off the ground about 8in. So need something to go from shower to floor

  1. What about flexible cove molding?  I mean the plastic molding you put under your kitchen cabinets.   I think it comes up to 8" deep, but you would have to special order it.


  2. What about cushion flooring or plain old Lino? You dont specify why it has to be flexible, Ann, is it because you need to access the waste pipes under the shower? I'd box it in and tile it with a nice ceramic, but I suppose you could be inventive and use a tinted perspex and hide some lighting in there ...

  3. try using soffit cover board . it's very flexible and can be fixed with building adhesive. most builders merchants and d.i.y stores stock these materials.

  4. You can buy shower tray panels, they look similar to bath panels but obviously not as high. Lots of different types are available and they're designed to fit every type of shower tray.
