I need something other than powerpoint and keynote!!!!?

Question

i don't have a mac, so i cant use keynote

and for some reason i don't have Microsoft Office so i can't use powerpoint

im going into my junior year in high school and im going to be doing alot of presentations

and im just looking for a good EFFECTIVE way that i can do slideshows and presentations and whatnot without wasting the 150 dollars needed to buy powerpoint

there is one solution for you:

turn your powerpoint to DVD, then do your powerpoint presentation on TV. no need computer, powerpoint. just a TV and a DVD player can do all the things.

a tool somewhat like ppt to dvd burner is needed.

OpenOffice Impress is the best solution for you since it allows you to export to PowerPoint format.  It's free and redistributable.  Download from www.openoffice.org

I must warn you use only if you don't care that your other classmates have better special effects in their presentations than you.  But replace Word with Writer Writer is way better. (Included in OpenOffice)
