  1. well personally i would get the 55 because you have a lott more choices. In a 29 gallon you can have 1-2 full grown angles,2-4 yoyo's only fancy dwarf plecos. In the fifty you can put 6 full grown angels, like 10 yoyos and a common pleco. with angles you just cannot add fish that are to flashy and can fit in there mouths eg.guppys, neon tetras, also remember full grown angel fish get 8 inches long and high. also the guy above me is thinking of saltwater angles not freshwater ones.

    hope this helps

  2. I don't know the exact amount, all I do know is don't put in too many, like, don't go for the maximum you can.

  3. Get the 55 if you can, it's always better to get the largest tank that you can afford!  In a 55 you could also put some beautiful dwarf New World i.e. South american Cichlids with your Angels.  They tend to show their colours as they get a bit older. They are beautiful and many are peaceful (I love the dwarf Apistogramma's and some of the smaller peaceful Geophagus, their colours, as they grow, can be amazing!) Some Rams which are small and beautifully coloured would look great too!

I also agree about some dwarf gourami's!  However, all of these fish have some need for territory keep that in mind, another reason for the 55!  I bought 2 beautiful angels and I noticed that one became dominant of the other, with some reading I learned that (similar to some gourami's) it's better to have more than two or one (even tho they like to school when they are young, my one is much happier than when I had two!) and usually an odd number i.e. 3 or 5 so that if one is aggressive and dominant, the others can share the "heat" rather than just another one getting really stressed!

There are some smaller pleco's like the bristlenose that would be ideal in your tank.. the regular ones grow very large!! I think some loaches would be a good idea, it's nice to have some on the bottom of your tank, and ones that come out at night i.e Kuhli loaches (which are wonderful in a planted tank, they help aerate the substrate!), so there is always activity!

With some nice plants and some driftwood, you would have a very beautiful tank!

    Happy Fish Keeping :)

  4. Remember it is not good to have a crowded tank. With the 29 gallon tank you can fit about 2-3, depending on the angel fish size. With the 55 gallon you can fit about 5-6 angels. You can put any other type of fish as long as their not carnivores. I would suggest the clownfish since their so cute! :) I dont know about the other fishes you mentioned. Also, make sure to get all the other supppies for the fishes and salt water for the tank!

  5. Depending on the size of the angels you could anywhere from 2-15 fish in the 29 and doubled for the 55.  I LOVE putting gouramis in with angels, Its such a pretty match, but I only put in non-aggressive ones like dwarf or kissing or blue or close relatives of them.  I would put two plecos in the tank, but take out the plecos if you are planing on breeding cause when my mother was a kid she was soooo excited that her angels were have babise, eggs, and she took all the fish out of the tank but the pleco and the pleco ate her eggs!!! Opps!

  6. u can put ithink like 4 or 5 in 29 and 7 or 8 in 55 but im not sure i cant remenber

  7. YES!
